What Is the Tahanan ng Bagong Bayani Program?

The TBB Program is a housing initiative by the National Housing Authority (NHA) in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Originally part of the Government Employees Housing Program (GEHP), the program was expanded to include OFWs, acknowledging their vital contributions to the nation.

Key features of the TBB Program include:

  • Affordable housing options: Units range from townhouses to low-rise condominiums, catering to various budgets.
  • Strategic locations: Houses are built in accessible areas to support family living and career opportunities.
  • Flexible payment plans: Options include staggered payments and housing loans through Pag-IBIG or Landbank.

With the TBB Program, OFWs can transition from renting to owning a home, creating stability for their families.

Program Benefits:

  • Affordable and Accessible Housing: The TBB Program provides OFWs with well-designed homes, including townhouses, duplexes, and condominiums, built in convenient locations to support family and work-life balance.
  • Flexible Payment Terms: Applicants can choose from multiple payment options, including outright cash payments, staggered in-house payments, or housing loans with Pag-IBIG or Landbank.
  • No Down Payment Requirement: While optional, a down payment is not mandatory, making the program more accessible to a wider range of applicants.
  • Customized Housing Options: Homes come with functional layouts that cater to the preferences and needs of OFW families, including two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and parking spaces.
  • Empowerment and Stability: Owning a home enhances financial security and provides a stable environment for families, supporting long-term well-being.
