Simplifying the Donation Process

Assistant Secretary Ana Maria Paz Rafael announced that the portal will offer an easy-to-use system for individuals and organizations wishing to contribute. Cash donations will be accepted for disaster response efforts, while in-kind donations can be sent directly to DSWD-managed care facilities.

Collaborations with Financial and Logistics Partners

The DSWD has partnered with financial service providers such as Maya, Landbank, and GCash to facilitate seamless processing of cash donations through digital transactions. For in-kind donations, the portal will connect donors with logistics partners, including Globe, GCash, Maya, Grab, Lalamove, J&T Express, and RAF International Forwarding Philippines, to ensure efficient delivery to the intended facilities.

Expanding Support to Various Agencies

Kaagapay will also facilitate donations to registered social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs) and local government units (LGUs) involved in humanitarian efforts. This ensures a broader impact, reaching more communities in need.

Encouraging Community Involvement

Assistant Secretary Rafael emphasized, “No matter how small, if you want to help and show how you care, you can do it here through our portal.” The Kaagapay platform is expected to streamline aid efforts, making charitable giving more convenient, transparent, and impactful.
