Not Disqualified by Law

  • Cannot be disqualified from voting under Philippine law.

Personal Information

  • Full name, date of birth, address, and relevant identification documents (e.g., passport, government-issued ID).

Step-by-Step Guide to Using iREHISTRO

Step 1: Accomplish a Voter Registration Form

New and reactivating registrants, both local and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), must first complete the Voter Registration form.

Online Application or Registration on iRehistro:

  • Open a web browser and go to iREHISTRO.
  • Select whether you are a local or overseas applicant.
  • Read and accept the disclaimer notice.
  • Choose the type of application (new registration, reactivation, change of details, or transfer of record).
  • Fill in your personal details accurately.
  • Set an appointment for biometrics and form submission.
  • Save and print three (3) copies of the PDF form.

Printed Copies:

If you can’t complete the online registration, print the forms and fill them out manually.

  • Print three (3) copies of the Voter Registration Form on legal-sized bond paper.
  • Accurately fill in your personal details.
  • Obtain the form from or your nearest Embassy or Consulate.

Step 2: Prepare All the Requirements

Before visiting your local COMELEC office, gather the necessary documents:

  • Three (3) copies of the filled-out Voter Registration Form.
  • One (1) valid ID with your current address and a photocopy. Acceptable IDs include:
    • PRC ID,
    • Driver’s License,
    • Senior Citizen ID,
    • Postal ID,
    • IBP ID,
    • Passport,
    • NBI Clearance,
    • Certificate of Confirmation from the NCIP,
    • School ID.
  • A ballpoint pen.
  • Follow health protocols: wear a facemask and maintain social distancing.

Step 3: Visit Your Local COMELEC Office

COMELEC offices are generally open Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Appointment acceptance varies by location; some offices accept online appointments, others accept walk-ins.
  • Check announcements from your nearest Embassy or Consulate.
  • Upon arrival, register and receive a number or join the waiting line.
  • Complete the Health Declaration Form as needed.
