Metro Manila residents who want to start or improve a career in virtual assistance now have a chance to receive FREE VA training with on-the-job training (OJT).
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), through its SPARK Program and in partnership with Aboitiz Foundation and BELART, is opening 75 scholarship slots for VA Services Level III Training.
Applications and screening will run from September 25 to October 7, 2026, while training is scheduled to start on October 14, 2026.
The program will use a hybrid training setup and will include OJT with industry partners.
What is the Free VA Services Level III Training?
The program is designed to help qualified participants build skills that can be used for virtual assistant and other digital work opportunities.
A total of 75 scholarship slots will be offered across three training batches.
Selected participants will receive training as well as practical OJT experience with industry partners.
For jobseekers interested in remote work, this can provide an opportunity to develop skills while gaining exposure to actual workplace tasks.
Who Can Apply?
According to the DICT announcement, applicants must:
- Be a resident of the National Capital Region (NCR)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have access to a laptop or desktop computer
- Have a stable internet connection
- Be able to complete both the training and OJT
- Be interested in working in the digital economy
- Have or complete TESDA BSRS registration
Priority may be given to applicants from sectors such as:
- Women
- Solo parents
- Out-of-school youth
- Persons with disabilities
- Overseas Filipino workers
Note: Meeting the qualifications does not automatically guarantee a training slot because applicants must still pass the screening process.
Requirements for Selected Participants
Applicants who are selected should prepare the following:
- Updated resume
- High school or college diploma
- Form 137 or Form 138 for high school graduates
- Transcript of Records for college graduates
- PSA/NSO birth certificate
- Marriage certificate, if applicable
- Valid government-issued ID with three specimen signatures
- Passport-size, 1×1, and 2×2 ID photos
- TESDA BSRS registration and enrollment forms
- One long brown envelope
- One long white folder
The DICT poster states that documentary requirements must be printed on A4-size paper.

- Take the English and Typing Tests and complete or verify your TESDA BSRS registration.
